Cade brings pace and creativity with the ball in his hands. A quick twitch main handler or off guard that can fill the 1 or 2 slots, he pushes hard off outlets to initiate the break phase. Showed creativity at the rim for good reason. Has plus bounce and displayed a solid amount of hang time to convert vs bigger defenders. Cade can space the floor for spot up 3s or has the quickness to get space off the bounce going into his shot as well. Vision wise he showed good timing on passes to off ball cutters hitting teammates in stride for scoring opportunities.

There is a lot to like about the way Jeffrey Cade Jeffrey Cade 6'1" | PG Homewood Flossmoor | 2027 State IL creates offense. He is crafty with his eyes, can find teammates with no-look passes, and has a confident three-point stroke that forces defenders to respect him away from the basket. He’s not afraid to drive to the hoop against bigger players to draw the foul and his free throw shooting keeps the defense honest. He can be tricky with his eyes, misleading the defense while generating opportunities on offense.

A scrappy floor general that plays with pace and confidence in rhythm. I caught H4H’s middle afternoon game on Thursday and he provided a lot of energy in different phases of the game. There were two plays he hunted down offensive rebounds quickly and put them back up for scores. Cade provides a quick handle that he utilized for an in and out and then got to the rim for a conversion. He consistently hit gaps hard and provided a spark in the open floor. His toughness and grit helps team make winning plays on both sides of the ball.

Cade is a player we haven’t seen in a while after initially burst onto our radar over a year ago.  The 6’0” HF guard had a nice third game for his squad as he buried threes at a nice clip and plays with bounce.
