Lanky and still growing, Lawton is a backcourt prospect who showed well in virtually every aspect of the game at the Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase in Appleton. He handled the ball, made good decisions, involved his teammates and played inspired defense. The younger brother of former Notre Dame Academy and current Washington University (Missouri) standout Emmett Lawton, Grant Lawton looks to have a very promising future ahead of him with the Redbirds’ program. His best attribute at this point might be attacking the rim in the open court.
