About Gabe

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a solid build as a 6’5” Small forward, and am developing as an all around utility player. I am a good finisher, but can also facilitate and score from different parts of the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m well known for my respect and coachability by many. I am a role model on my team and known to be an outgoing and positive leader.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a great student outside of sports, maintaining above a 3.7/4 GPA for the last 3 years, making the honor roll, and being in accelerated and/or AP classes.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Respect and coachability have been the two biggest factors in my success, taught to me by my coaches and my parents, and I believe that a team with those qualities always wins. I demonstrate dedication to the sport by participating in camps, reading positive growth and leadership books to maintain a strong mindset, and being intentional in how I care for my body.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I am comfortable in positions of adversity and have developed grit and tenacity through being placed in challenging situations in which I’ve overcome.

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to play at the highest level of college basketball and graduate with a 4-year degree in Business and Real Estate.

He is a confidence player with the ball in his hands and can score in different ways. Whited figures to contend for varsity minutes for another very good team at Onalaska this winter, and will be a player to watch as he continues to round out his game and shot selection in the future.
