About Naasson
Expert Analysis
Mark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
Quick and shifty point guard who loves to keep defenders off balance with his stop-and-go dribble, Triggs got to the basket and scored well for Team 8 at the Sophomore ID Camp in Appleton. Part of a talented group of backcourt players at Brown Deer, Triggs figures to be in the Falcons’ playing rotation this season due to his quickness with the ball and his pesky on-ball defensive ability.

Naasson was one of the more impressive lead guards that I saw on Sunday. He was in his bag, off the dribble, getting where he wanted to at will, whether that was to the hoop, by creating space, and finishing through contact or pulling from mid-range. He was also impressive, from deep, making several transition 3’s which kept the defense on their heels. I expect big things for Naasson going into his Sophomore season!

Triggs was fearless attacking the basket. As soon as an outlet pass came his way, he was looking to push the tempo, and if a lane to the basket existed, he was going to find it. Triggs has such a quick first step to beat his man off the dribble and force the defense to collapse on him, leading to some kick-out assists to his shooters.
