With all of the talent around him, Ewell can sometimes fly under the radar. That wasn’t the case on Saturday night as I thought he played very well against St. Thomas More. Ewell finished with 14 points, using his strong frame as a guard to power his way to the basket. He found success flashing to the elbow, facing up, and either immediately driving or getting his defender off balance with a jab step before attacking. Clinton is so dangerous in that spot as he has a quick first step and excellent body control when finishing at the rim.
