Dinger put himself on the map as a 2026 prospect from his performance at the state B tournament in Aberdeen. His stock is up a great deal and he’s a college prospect for sure. Scored the ball at a high level and impacted the game in all categories. Great competitor with a big motor.

Dinger secured Western Great Plains Conference MVP for his play this season. He averaged an even 20.0 ppg., 6.8 rpg., and 3.3 spg. Wall is off to state to Aberdeen and Dinger is a main reason why. He’s at #56 and after watching the win over Sully Buttes, he could be moved up even further.

Dinger is a major stock-riser because of his play this season. He’s averaging 17.3 points per game and is shooting the ball at a high-level clip in the games I watched. He just put in 34, nailing six threes vs Lead-Deadwood. He’s a 2-guard that doesn’t need to dribble the air out of the ball to score. He loves the catch-and-shoot three, and Wall has a ton of screening action to free up Kjerstad and Dinger for jumpers. If he doesn’t have a shot, he won’t force action and will simply move the ball. When he does put the ball on the floor, it’s a few dribbles attacking the rim in a straight line or he does have the capability to pull and rise up for a shot. Defensively, he’s very active and disruptive, getting deflections and steals. Wall is a small team, so Dinger is counted on on the boards, and he’s pulling down seven rebounds a game.

Dinger was one of the most accurate three-point shooters in the state last season as a Sophomore. Per MAXPREPS, he was 46-114 for 40% from three. He’s a catch-and-shoot specialist that is money when he’s set and given space. He showed he can hit deep ones as well, from the games I saw.
