I was very impressed with Harper’s showing in the hosts’ win over Dreher at the EPIC Hoops Holiday Hoopfeast. He was the ultimate effort guy for them, coming off the bench and working hard to control his defensive glass and win the loose balls. Elijah plays bigger than his listed size because of his strength and athleticism, both of which are major factors in his game. Although he did rack up a solid 10 points and 4 rebounds, Harper’s impact was felt on more than just the stat sheet because he got the crowd energized with a nice block and a steal that led to a run-out dunk.
