The potential that we’ve seen in Hall for some time now is quickly turning the corner into production as he looks to make a splash on the EYBL Circuit this spring/summer. The early returns have been evident as the 6-foot-4 combo guard forms a dynamic backcourt duo next to Brooks. He has good instincts off the ball that puts him in position for kick outs where he uses his long first step to take advantage of driving lanes. He’s been aggressive in transition so far this month and when he isn’t creating contact to draw fouls on his way to the tin, Hall is using his length to finish extended lay-ups or flushing dunks that catch some by surprise. The mechanics on his jumper have shown some improvements over the high school season and while he still has to establish some arc on the ball, the rotation and release point are workable. The wiry frame will come in handy defensively and already has shown its value in Durant’s full court press where he’s caused his fair share of deflections.

The smooth crafty lanky two-way guard showed his big-time promise as a 3-point shooter, finished above the rim in transition, and created well for others despite playing off the ball.
Having led the Rough Riders in scoring this year, Elijah will look to show his talent against the best Dunbar in the semi-final game on Thursday. Elijah scored 11 points in a dominate victory over Banneker.

-Our scouts really like the season that Hall is putting together as a versatile scoring guard that can play 1-3 for this Theodore Roosevelt team. Hall has always possessed a feathery midrange jumper and has extended that range past the three point arc while sharpening his handle to cut down on turnovers in the key. If he can add more weight to his frame to play a more physical brand of basketball, he’s got a chance to be one of the best guards in the class.

continues to show that he’s a one of the top prospects in the sophomore class in the DMV area. The long-armed fluid jump shooter continues to show he is comfortable playing on or off the ball. On defense he can disrupt the game with his length and could beat you with straight line drives. Also impress with his decision making and passing ability. Elijah is a prospect that will continue to garner national attention going forward.

It’s easy to recognize his appeal as a smart, athletic, physically imposing guard. Elijah (younger brother of Sean) displays terrific polish as an all-around offensive threat with the handle, vision, and three-level scoring chops to cause constant problems for opponents. He touches the paint at will, where he’s able to use his length to finish or set up others with ease. Elijah is a reliable perimeter shooter who can operate as a spot-up threat when needed. He also use his length to rebounds his position extremely well and be a menace in the front of the Rough Riders full court pressure defense. Next, in his development process of getting stronger and extending his range, as it would make him a more complete player. Elijah has a very mature game. He does not play like a high school sophomore. Possesses a wiry frame and uses his body very well to play through contact. Displays the strength and body control of an upperclassmen. Elijah is a high-IQ guard who will make a college coach very happy one day. This kid is a stud!!” Elijah proved to be an asset throughout the game and has the tools to be an immediate contributor at the college level.

is the prototype that you’d look for out of a sophomore in high school. It has been fun watching Elijah develop since watching him play in Middle School at Alice Deal Middle School two years ago…The lanky catalyst can break you down off the bounce, uses his big-time athleticism for unique finishes at the cup, and shoots it well enough from beyond the arc to keep you honest. The DC native will have a slew of D1 offers with plenty more to come this season with DCIAA power Theodore Roosevelt HS. Every event T. Roosevelt has taken place in. He has been the most productive and consistent performer for the Rough Riders this fall. A super competitive two-way guard who is a confident playmaker was incredibly aggressive getting to his spots, showed deep three-point range, and was a willing facilitator in a camp setting. Long rangy on ball defender. Look for Elijah to be one of the top players in the DCIAA conference this year.

Hall put on a needle-moving performance in his game against Largo where the 6-foot-4 guard showcased his dynamism as a primary playmaker. While he isn’t going to blow you away with blazing speed, what Hall does is use his length and understanding for attacking defenders with angles to gain advantages and make his way to the paint or rim. Once he’s there, he can play off two feet where he utilized textbook footwork pivoting his way through defenders’ arms to create openings for scoop lay-ups or dump-offs. There were stretches of this particular game where Largo has zero answer for Hall in both a half court or transition setting.
Expect Hall to receive a boost from No. 18 overall in the updated 2028 rankings.

Elijah is a talented lead guard who is efficient in getting a bucket when needed from various spots on the floor and was poised in setting the table for his teammates getting them involved as well. A wiry guard who smoothly slithers his way into his pullup, Hall is comfortable drilling jumpers (Legit 23 range on jumpers) with a hand in his face and does so with a calm demeanor. Defensively used his length to be a menacing on ball defender. Potentially Elijah has the potential to be one of the top guards in the nation if he continues to develop at this pace!

12p 3r 1a 2s 2b vs Patriot
-Balanced performance for the top-20 wing in a nice win over Patriot. Hall’s development is encouraging as a combo guard prospect that still should grow a bit more but already has a solid skill base. The jumper looked fluid as he connected on two wing 3s off the catch but his handle has improved quite a bit to allow him to navigate ball screens or split through tight gaps in the defense. His instincts have also improved quite a bit on the defensive end as he has earned the right to rove a bit defensively to block shots, help down on bigs, jump passing lanes, and contest looks without fouling. Like his decision-making in transition both on and off the ball as he is playing more patiently and allowing plays to develop in front of him.

Hall is a standout name in the Class of 2028. At 6’4, he showcases good length, athleticism, and a high motor on the court. He consistently gets downhill, finishes at the rim, attacks the glass, and scores effectively. Hall should be on college coaches’ radar as one of the top prospects in the DCIAA league.
