Miller has undoubtedly been one of the most impressive 2028 forwards I’ve seen since the beginning of the spring. His activity and overall assertiveness at both ends were aspects of his game that I only saw in flashes during his challenging schedule at Mt. Zion. Now on a Durant 16s team that needs an alpha on the wing/forward spot, it looks like Miller could use the next 3-4 months to set himself up for a breakout junior campaign. Miller and his group were dominant over the weekend in Manheim and moving forward as EYBL play approaches, his production and versatility are going to be key to their overall success.

-Encouraging flashes from a promising young prospect as Miller often makes the most of his minutes, showing his upside as a 2-way prospect with his all-around performance. Miller is routinely taking advantage of open corner 3 looks as a floor-spacing wing that can serve as a shooting or lob threat with well-timed backdoor cuts for easy twos. Miller has taken some nice strides defensively to rotate better as a helper in the halfcourt, the next stage in his development will be him using his athleticism to become a true defensive terror

Miller goes from being the focal point offensively with his grassroots team (York Ballers) to an underclassmen still trying to find his niche early on with Mt. Zion. What’s easy to see with Miller is the size, length, and athleticism. He’s already shown comfort in scoring from different spots on the floor and in a variety of ways, but stepping up in competition playing on The Grind Session should allow him to go through some valuable growing pains. Miller is the type of prospect that could rocket up this list in time as his blend of versatility, skill, and athletic ability that will continue to expand within the maturation process should result in a potential household name in the DMV when he’s a senior.

-Miller quite literally jumps off the screen as an athletic wing prospect with a ton of upside. Miller’s flashes as a play-finisher around the rim, dynamic rebounder, and versatile defender make him a tantalizing physical prospect to track in the 2028 class. Love the intensity and aggressiveness that he plays with– especially on the glass as a rebounder that isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. Interested to see how much perimeter skill Miller adds over the next three years, although he has a decent skillbase as a wing capable of putting it on the floor to drive past other wings/forwards.

Miller impressed with his versatility on both ends of the court. He thrives at scoring from spots in the mid-range and takes whatever the defense gives him. Miller was able to showcase that he can score the ball from behind the arc. He is a threat to catch lobs and can jump out of the gym. Miller continues to wreak havoc on the glass and plays with an assertive motor. He found ways to get to the foul line. I like how Miller has no issue being a vocal leader as an underclassmen. Excited to watch his development over the next several seasons.

After a freshman season where he flashed consistently at the varsity level, Miller has used the spring to establish himself as one of the most intriguing long-term prospects in the area. A modern hybrid forward who’s still just starting to scratch the surface, he scores comfortably from an array of spots on the floor as a consistent matchup problem for opposing wings or forwards. He shows good timing using his length to alter shots and haul in rebounds. The building blocks are there for a mid to high-major prospect in time, particularly if Miller can build on the foundation he’s shown as a floor-spacer from 3.

Miller is a Swiss-Army knife forward who continuously made plays on both ends of the floor. He has an everlasting motor and never seemed to get tired of doing the dirty work. Miller scored the ball in different ways. He was a threat as a floor spacer and hit several threes including the game winning three as time expired. He was a magnet on the glass and fights to come up with boards. Miller had great timing when going up to alter shots. Looking forward to tracking his progress over the next several seasons.
