There is a reason why Wilson immediately caught our attention last year at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase and earned himself a Top 10 ranking in the Class of 2029. His upside, especially on the defensive end of the floor, is as high as anyone’s in the class. Wilson is a long, super athletic, 6’7″ forward/center that runs the floor very well and can guard any position on a given possession. He is a left-handed finisher inside that has flashed some ability to stretch the floor when left open as well. Look for him to have a breakout sophomore season at Tindley High School.

We have been very high on Wilson since first seeing him at our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase last fall. He is now signed up for our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp as well. On Wednesday night flashed some of his upside by knocking down an elbow jump shot and a catch-and-shoot three-pointer from the corner. He has a smooth, projectable stroke as a 6’7″ lefty. However, it is Wilson’s defensive presence that makes him a Top 10 long-term prospect. He has a chance to be one of the best interior defenders in the state of Indiana.
