Ferwerda was impressive on Saturday in Hillsdale. 2 things really caught my eye early and often. The first was how well he understands the open floor. He just got it, from spacing to the right pass to make and when. The second was his discipline in pushing pace. Ferwerda seemed to instinctively know when it was time and when it wasn’t. I loved his use of the pass to push pace.

Ferwerda is a talented and high upside player with length and the ability to attack a defense. He can score at all levels and features a tough pull up jumper. Ferwerda has the ability to cross the floor with the ball and find an angle to the rim. He understands the difference between a good and bad shot which makes him very efficient.
