is without a doubt, one of Georgia’s top guard prospects but doesn’t get a lot of the love that the Atlanta guys do. He’s been burning defenses all spring, part of a deadly 3-guard trio for the Upward Stars with KJ Greene and Bryson Cokley. Shine’s shotmaking ability is rare, deadly from mid-range and beyond the arc. With Shine’s combination of talent and consistent production, I don’t see why he shouldn’t have offers by the end of the summer.

Shine was at it again today for the Lions with his game. Shine had 26 points according to my unofficial stats including making 2 free throws down 62-60 with 0.1 seconds to send the game into overtime. DJ plays the game with ice in veins at times and wants the ball in the clutch down the stretch.
Shine has good body control to the cup and is always looking to absorb contact on the way. DJ surely gets to the foul line at a good clip. He certainly is a 3-level scorer on the floor for the Lions. Shine has good frame and plays the game with some swagger.
Can the Lions stay focused for a scrappy Hammond team in the semifinals?
