Elijah Crawford returned to his former home at Legacy Early College this week at the Pete Hollis Showcase. Crawford is a true playmaking guard with great vision and a strong handle. Elijah made a couple of eye-opening plays with his crossover in the open court and also hit some very tough shots down the stretch vs Wasatch Academy. He scored 14 points in the second half including going perfect from the line to seal the game in the fourth. To go with his 23 points, Elijah tallied 6 assists and 2 steals, making play after play on both ends of the floor on Friday Afternoon.

Crawford, who will head to Stanford in the fall, didn’t take long to assert himself as one of New England’s top guards upon arriving at Brewster Academy. He has good size at the lead guard spot and has proven to be a tough shot maker this winter. But, he shines with the ball in his hands as a floor general that is able to set up his teammates for easy scoring opportunities. He has a quick first step and does a great job changing speed and direction to get to his spots off the bounce.

Elijah came over this past off season after winning a SCISA Class 3A State Championship at Augusta Christian last year. Crawford has already garnered High Major recruitment since walking on campus in Greenville.
Crawford can really take over a game at times with his ability to score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor.
