Darius impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Uses his length as a rim protector. Keeps the ball high on the catch. Has shown a soft touch with his face up jumper. Catches the ball in traffic and on lobs ending with strong flushes. He will be a little further away from the Bronx as he has comitted to USC .

Darius was #2 on our list. He showed his range nailing an open three. He scored on numerous dunks off of lobs, He displayed the ability to handle the ball. But I feel his overall length with his skill set brings him to a different level. Can’t wait to see how he develops further at USC under coach Musselman.

Ratliff is a seven-foot center who flashed real versatility on both ends of the floor. He showed shot-making ability as a face-up threat, spacing the floor and knocking down jumpers with confidence. His length and timing popped defensively, blocking shots and cleaning up the glass consistently. He also moved well for his size, sliding with guards and using his reach to bother ball-handlers. Offensively, he put pressure on closeouts with straight-line drives and quick decisions. The overall skill package points to a high ceiling as he continues to add strength and consistency. With that combination of size, skill, and impact, he’s the type of prospect who can change a game in multiple ways.

The brother of Adonis is also going to USC to put together some length and talent to the Trojans roster. Darius is more of an inside presence. A shot blocker rebounder. Scores inside with consistency. Has the ability to also step out and shoot it. A double double machine impacts the game with his mere presence. Can get double-double games many different ways.

It’s fascinating seeing both Darius and Adonis play together as the twins fill roles of what you want frontcourt players to do very well. Darius is a better rebounder, shot blocker and interior defender, which compliments the more perimeter oriented game of Adonis perfectly. I love their fit together on the court and am curious to see them immediately at USC next season.

had impressive moments this weekend and I thought Darius rebounding, rim protection, switch ability and screen setting were enough to include him in a standouts article. Both twins have already stood out at the border league and with strong showings this weekend, they continue to raise their stock as their senior season begins. The pair will look to play together at the college level with Darius comfortably playing the 5 alongside Adonis at the 4.

Ratliff is an extremely versatile center who brings a modern skill set to the position. He can stretch the defense with his shooting range and also put the ball on the floor to create plays. His mobility and feel allow him to operate comfortably on the perimeter or in the post. Ratliff’s all-around game makes him a dynamic presence and a tough cover for opposing bigs.
