The last name on this list isn’t much of a new name, but Krylov returned to the OHSAA after a brief stint at a prep program on the west coast. Bouncing around from program to program, Northland is the third OHSAA school Krylov has played at. Hitting the ground running with the Columbus City League powerhouse, Krylov had a game-winner against Delaware Hayes. Already announcing plans to reclassify and take a post-grad year, Krylov will look to improve his stock this summer.

The third former Northland player, Krylov only appeared for the Vikings in June after stops at both Reynoldsburg and New Albany. Now moving out west to PHH Prep, Krylov is at his 4th high school program in as many years. A versatile wing athlete, Krylov has a ton of two-way potential thanks to his frame and athletic tools. We’ll see if Krylov gets some new momentum in terms of recruitment in a new situation.

A new addition to Columbus Northland, Krylov stood out with his new team as he showed off his impressive athleticism and ball handling ability for a player his size. With his frame and athleticism, Krylov is an impact defensive player as well and thrives in transition. Northland’s biggest strengths this season will be their size, length, rebounding and defense and Krylov helps add to all those facets of the game. A scholarship target from central Ohio.

I’ve been a fan of Krylov for a while and he’s flown a bit under the radar until this season where he’s established himself as one of the better wing forwards in central Ohio’s 2026 class. A talented athlete who can run the floor, attack closeouts and crash the glass, Krylov had some stretches of physical dominance on Sunday. He did pass up a handful of open 3-point shots which was especially strange because in the fourth quarter he confidently knocked down a 3-pointer when left open.

New Albany has picked up some impressive wins this season and have a nice mix of senior and underclassmen talent on their roster. I thought Krylov played well at the Battle in the 740 in a win over Minford. A good shooter with his feet set, Krylov can also attack a closeout and makes good decisions during offensive advantages. A quick mover without the basketball, Krylov can make a pass then cut to make himself available for a layup due to his high IQ. I’ll be curious to track Krylov’s development as he continues to mature and develop physically.

Coming off the bench for New Albany, I liked what Krylov provided for the Eagles on Saturday. Knocked down some shots from the corner, moved without the basketball and had a sweet reverse layup. With solid size on the wing and showing his basketball iq playing with an experienced team, Krylov is a name to watch over the next few years in central Ohio.
