Expert Analysis
Daniel Siehndel | Prep Hoops Scout
Kerrigan had a strong showing in Kansas City during UAA Session I, rounding out and complementing a talented roster of guards and perimeter players. Playing bigger than his frame, he’s shown he can stretch opposing forwards away from the rim and find creases in defenses when operating in two-man actions. Conor’s ability to play physical and rugged on both ends of the floor — especially defensively and on the glass — allows him to function as a true interchangeable piece. With his growing perimeter game, both as a shooter and as a wing playmaker, you’re starting to see a more complete version of Kerrigan emerge, with plenty of time left to continue showing next-level programs what he can do. What better way to put it all on full display than this weekend in Ohio at UAA Session II. I expect Conor to show an expanded, more methodical approach — particularly on the offensive end.

Kerrigan’s weekend was defined by strong, rugged play on both ends. He brought a physical presence as a rebounder and defender while flashing moments on the offensive end. He helped initiate action with effective screening and dribble handoffs, found space, and showed he could play through contact inside while also stepping out when needed. He battled on the glass and added another dimension with the way he pursued the ball. From a physicality and effort standpoint, he was all over the floor at times, playing with a consistent motor throughout.

Another balanced attack from the Raiders saw Kerrigan play a major role in their dominant win over Olathe East. Operating as a true playmaking forward, he did much of his work with his back to the basket. Conor’s patience and deliberate pace stood out — he consistently took his time, reading and scanning the defense before making his move.
Conor is just one of several players on the roster who play equally well without the ball. Consistently creating movement with purpose, finding openings on cuts to the rim and finishing with strength and power. He also showed his ability to stretch the floor, stepping out with a smooth, confident stroke, while continuing to make plays for others as a passer.
Kerrigan has a knack for elevating the players around him, consistently putting teammates in positions to succeed — one of the true marks of an elite player. It’s no coincidence that he’s a leader for what many consider the best team in Kansas.
