Martin transferred to Modesto Christian from the small school in Turlock. He’s a quality player, and a contributor. Listed at 6’4, he help defend in the post, had good movement defending on the perimeter. He got rebounds. He’ll probably play different positions with this team, showing his versatility. He handles and passes well, sees the court, he can get his own shot, go up strong in traffic, and finish drives through contact.

We don’t see Martin often, but when we do he reminds us that he’s one of the better guards in the Stockton Area. He’s a quality combo guard with a good skill set to produce buckets in different ways. He plays under control. At 6’3 he can work his way around the post area (not posting up) with a good touch around the rim. Make no mistake he’s a guard with guard skills. (57 to 48)

He plays with speed, balance, and movement, he’s coming hard at you, but under control. He works his way into the paint often. He’ll go either way attacking defenders getting into the paint for finishes with either hand. He can put points on the board. He’s a good ball handler, aggressive in transition. He has active hands on defense.

He’s a good size guard with a versatile skill set and good athleticism. He has a good shot from beyond the arc. He has good ball handling skills. He does well in transition running and finishing at the rim. At 6’3 he gets a lot of stuff done around the rim rebounding and defending bigs on his HS team. He has the foot speed to defend on the perimeter.

A good all around prospect with a good upside to his game. He’s an excellent on ball defender, with length and lateral movement. He’ll get rebounds, then handle in open court making good passes. He has has some tools to put the ball through the next. A strong drive to the rim, and can knock down 3’s in the corner. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List.
