Happy led the way for Milton in a blowout win to close night one of the NPSI. He finished with 23 points and 11 rebounds as Milton cruised. The Princeton commit can get a bucket with either hand and moves very well and it’s clear that he works on his game.

Happy, a Princeton commit, had a solid outing Saturday evening in Milton’s win over The Peddie School. A terrific communicator on the defensive end, he showed the ability to switch onto guards on the perimeter while also showcasing his traditional toughness and rebounding on the interior. Offensively, Happy did the majority of his damage by the rim. However, he also showed solid feel as a passer and offensive initiator when catching on the elbow. As he continues to add bits and pieces to his offensive game, he only increases his ceiling as a high-level contributor in the Ivy League.

Happy is a forward with great hands and the ability to throw it down with authority on the inside. He is also a glass cleaner on both ends of the floor, that converts second chance points often. Happy can also score with his back to the basket, having the footwork and skillset to hit shots like the turnaround hook off the backboard.

CJ is a big and strong post presence. He is mobile and skilled for his size. He showed his good footwork and soft touch around the rim, as scored many baskets in the paint. He is aggressive and has a variety of finishing moves around the rim. He also has good passing skills and good hands from the high and low block. CJ will be a player to watch this season on a very talented Milton Academy team.
