I had heard about Hodge before Saturday but this was my first opportunity to catch the Columbus City League star in action live and he didn’t disappoint. Hodge was taller than I was expecting and used his length to make some plays defensively. I think that end of the court could turn into Hodge’s calling card as he continues to add strength to his frame. Hodge also caught my eye as a slasher with multiple and-1 finishes as he was too quick and explosive for the defense to stop him at the rim. One of the top players in the Columbus City League, Hodge is now set to make his debut in our 2029 rankings during the next update after I got to check him off the list of 2029 prospects I still needed to watch in person.
