With an excellent frame and perimeter shooting ability, Howard can space the floor and get hot from downtown in no time. Howard's ability to score without needing to put the ball on the floor will do wonders for him as he plays alongside the Sam brothers at Bellbrook. Hodge was taller than I was expecting and used his length to make some plays defensively. I think that end of the court could turn into Hodge's calling card as he continues to add strength to his frame. Hodge also caught my eye as a slasher with multiple and-1 finishes as he was too quick and explosive for the defense to stop him at the rim. While both of those skills were on full display, Stumpf has grown about three inches and is starting to add to his frame physically. His older brother is a Michigan State commit on the gridiron and I figured it was only a matter of time until the younger Stumpf's started to add some strength. What sets Stumpf apart from a lot of other young shooters is his fearlessness to fire away even with a hand in his face as he has the confidence that every shot is going in. I also thought Stumpf showed good effort on the defensive end of the court as he used his length and improved strength to shut off driving lanes for opposing guards. Mack has the range to make shots from a few feet behind the 3-point line as he hit a couple from the parking lot on Saturday evening. A stout on-ball defender, Phillips made the offense work to get around him as he fought through screens and pressured the basketball. Phillips also had some nice moments as a slasher, with his best move coming off a jump stop that took him from one side of the rim to the other to finish a layup. Oregon Clay has an extremely talented group so I'll be curious what Phillips is able to provide this winter to a team with a lot of winning experience, size and talent.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
