put on a scoring clinic despite the tough loss to Chatfield on Saturday, applying pressure on both sides of the ball and totalling a whopping 31 points, 10 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. Throughout the contest, Boykin remained focused and composed with the rock in his hands, never letting off the gas pedal. The 6’4 senior capitalized on 48% of his looks from the field along with 33% from distance. This kind of versatility will take him far in the postseason, as Boykin has nothing to hang his head over with this elite performance.

has been one of Columbine’s most reliable scoring options. In the last three games, he’s responded with a strong scoring stretch, posting 21.6 PPG and showing that he can carry the offense whether the Rebels win or not. Boykin’s ability to put the ball in the basket across all three levels on offense has kept Columbine competitive in every matchup, and that scoring punch over this recent stretch demonstrates why he’s one of the state’s top offensive threats. The second-ranked forward in his class looks to carry this momentum into March and beyond.

proved oncemore why he’s a top-tier player in the box state. Scorching the Arvada West defense for 29 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks, Boykin was able to convert on looks from all three levels on offense. Utilizing his elusive space creation and exceptional court awareness, Boykin had no problem exuding confidence and having fun out there. Expect more of the same from the 6’4 superstar.

When it comes to raw talent, look no further than Cash, as he checks off so many boxes. He shoots the 3-ball, he dunks in traffic, and he’s the best mid-range shooter in the entire state, and every night out, you’re going to get those three things. His usage has skyrocketed in his senior year, but he’s been delivering since putting up 20 points a game as a sophomore. Things have changed since then, and the wins as of late have been on his shoulders. He’s a solid rebounder, he starts the break, and he breaks guys down off the dribble. He is an iso scorer who opposing teams have had difficulty slowing down for three seasons. He’s only scored in single digits once in his three-year stretch. There aren’t many players who have been better over a 3 year stretch, and he finally got to the 1,000 points scored earlier in the season.

is now the number one-ranked SF in the class of 2026, and for good reason. Carrying Columbine to an 8-3 start to the season, Boykin demands attention on offense, cooking opposing defenses for 25 PPG. Boykin takes pride in forcing stops and suffocating his matchup when they have the ball. Earning a multitude of foul stripe points, Boykin has made it his mission to bump up his physicality around the rim and boxing out opponents, bringing down 9.4 RPG. Expect Boykin to continue dominating as we head into the February slate soon.

Boykin is set up for a monster season with Columbine and he already plays with the polish and physicality of an upper class star. After averaging nearly 20 points per game in back to back years, he’s proven he can take over games with ease by getting to his spots, exploiting mismatches and dictating tempo. He punishes defenders in the post with strength and footwork, and in transition he’s almost impossible to stop, finishing with power and confidence. Add in the growth he showed this summer and Boykin looks poised to overwhelm defenses and cement himself as one of the conference’s most unstoppable forces

Cash is a can’t miss prospect as I feel that a team can take a chance on him and it’s going to pan out. He’s full of promise and has everything that’s needed to be a special player, as he has insane upside. At 6’5 and the ability to get to where he wants on the floor and shoot over defenders, or get out in transition for finishes, he stands out every single time. But when you add in the fact that he’s one of the state’s best half-court iso options, it really separates him. He’s a lethal mid-range shooter and a silent assassin. He put up 19.8 points and 8.8 rebounds a game. He also added 2.5 steals and 1.7 blocks a game to go along with it. The skill is all there! Once the motor matches the potential, I truly feel he has what it takes to be one of the top 3 prospects in the state. Consistency is what will put him in elite company but he remains in the Top 10. Columbine will go as he allows.

Boykin embraced his role as the leader of a loaded squad and delivered in a big way this weekend. Offensively, he showed his versatility as a scorer, getting buckets from all three levels of the court with confidence and control. On defense, he played with high energy and focus—flying around to contest shooters and crashing down to protect the rim. Boykin will yet again be the offensive engine for this Columbine program, providing constant offense in the mid-range and out to the three point line. Comfortable taking and making difficult shot attempts off the dribble, he looks ready for another incredibly productive season.

There are not many shotmakers with Boykin’s size and skill in the state, finding success in the mid-range and around the rim. His ability to find openings in the half court allows him to be such a high volume shotmaker, bringing a lethal pull-up game. At roughly 6’4, Boykin impacts the game on both ends, active at the point of attack to deflect passes. There are only a handful of names in the class with his shotmaking abilities off the bounce.
