About Carson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Carson is a versatile, three‑level scorer with strong ball‑handling and court vision. At 6’4” with a long, lean frame and still growing, he combines above‑average speed, lateral quickness, and vertical explosiveness with high basketball IQ. Patient with the ball, he makes smart reads and excels as both a catch‑and‑shoot threat and an off‑dribble creator. On defense he matches up with the best wing

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am always trying to learn and grow as a player; whether that's taking practice reps or in games. I try to show leadership through my play and keep calm as I think my teammates look to me for that type of leadership and poise. I don't talk a lot to opponents, but I am never scared or intimidated by whatever player or team that I am facing.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have played multiple sports, but just recently decided to focus solely on basketball. However, playing baseball and football as well as taught me how to be a good teammate and be coachable. I am putting lots of focus into becoming the best basketball player I can be by doing things like cutting out soda, getting to the gym at 5am in the offseason to get up shots, training with my trainer, etc.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a program that that can develop me both academically as well as athletically. I'd like a coach and staff that will help me grow as student of the game and a student of life. Obviously, I'd like an opportunity to meaningful minutes as soon as possible; but if the right program and staff come along I'd be willing to take less playing time if that meant better development for me.
