James is off to a new school, and he is ready to contribute. Corner Canyon has some young players, and James is one of them that have an opportunity to step in and step up. James is a lengthy wing with a lot of potential. When James was a freshman, there were glimpses of some of that elite play. James has the ability to be a 3-level scorer. Just yesterday, James picked up his first offer from TCU.

During this past season, we caught glimpses of Brayden James Brayden James 6'6" | CG/SF Corner Canyon | 2029 State UT ‘s potential on the court, and he has continued to build on that momentum throughout the spring. As a true “Young Gun,” he is poised to make a significant impact and continue his upward trajectory this summer. With his frame continuing to develop—he is already trending toward a 6’10” projection—James possesses immense upside. When he plays with aggression, it is clear that he is a high-level prospect with all the tools to become a standout talent.

James is a natural when it comes to a feel for the game. He makes good reads and has a top notch IQ for his age. He has length and a solid plus on his wingspan. It looks like he could get a few more inches when it comes to his height. James can play the lead guard as well as on the wing. He can attack the rim and make that outside jumper that will keep defenders guessing. Big time ceiling for this kid.
