Jordan was one of those intriguing players who showed up at the Utah Expo. Calhoun brings size to the floor, and he does provide a presence out on the floor. He likes to play on the perimeter, and he has a good-looking shot. At times, he was able to mix in some inside and outside play. If he could find consistency in using his inside presence and some of that outside game, he is going to find success in both. He had some good moments where he was just bigger and stronger than anyone on the floor. Keep an eye on him.

As one of the tallest players on the floor, we were watching to see if Jordan could bring more to the game than the expected blocks and boards. He immediately put those questions to rest, stepping beyond the arc and knocking down shots with ease. His positional defense was just as impressive, using his size to close off the lane while still showing the mobility to stay in front of his matchup. That combination of size, shooting, and defensive awareness makes him much more than just a traditional post presence.

Calhoun has slowly been inching his way up the rankings but also doing the same with his skill. He should have a significant jump this coming season as he is a player that has the size and the wingspan to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Calhoun could be a force with his back to the basket but also use some of that soft touch in the perimeter. Look for Calhoun to be among players that make their way up the rankings.

Diamond in the rough for the Miners to dig out and develop in Calhoun. This kid is a big boy and he looks like he could end up 6’10. He has some raw talent but he will need to develop a lot over the eason as a back to the basket big. He has good hands and his footwork isn’t too bad. He is a player to keep an eye on.
