Vlosich was making it rain on Tuesday with a flurry of 3-pointers from different areas on the court. I loved how Vlosich used pump-fakes to cause defenders to fly by him before he takes a sidestep dribble to fire away. Vlosich’s first bucket of the game was off a curl cut, where he used the threat of his 3-point shot against the defense. To end the first quarter Vlosich hit a nasty dribble combo into a mid-range pull-up. I think Vlosich has the skillset to be a day one contributor at Ashland next season.
Vlosich was a mainstay from the perimeter converting on nine threes. He has good positional size. He had no issues getting separation off the bounce. Vlosich shows some ability to score on the attack when going downhill. I like his instincts and processes the game at a nice clip. He is a prospect who should be getting prioritized by low majors and division twos.
One of the top shooters in Ohio, Vlosich has legit NBA range from downtown. With the ultimate green light, Vlosich makes some absurd shots every time I watch him play. While his shooting ability draws a ton of headlines, Vlosich is a gamer who is not afraid of the moment and has played with confidence ever since his first varsity outing for Saint Edward against state powerhouse Centerville. I expect Division I programs to closely monitor Vlosich this summer for both Saint Edward and Midwest Basketball Club MHC during live period events.
Saint Edward made a double-digit comeback and got an impressive victory over Warrensville Heights in what was the most competitive game of the day. Vlosich shot the ball at an extremely high level from 3-point range with numerous corner 3-pointers after running off screens. In addition to the perimeter shooting ability, Vlosich had a tough and-1 layup with his left hand where he kept his defender attached to his hip. One of the elite shooters in northeast Ohio’s 2026 class, Vlosich is a name who I expect to be known by scholarship programs starting this spring.
I caught Vlosich in his varsity debut for Saint Edward against Centerville and he played with the confidence that a three year varsity starter would show on the court. His mid-season move to varsity helped provide a boost to the Eagles program and could be the go-to option as a Junior. Vlosich has good size from the wing guard position and made shots off the catch. In a district final loss to Brunswick, Vlosich ended with 18 points and four 3-pointers. With a quick release off the catch, Vlosich is a player you need to track at all times when he’s spotting up. I haven’t gotten to see Vlosich in person since January so I’ll be curious to see where he is physically when I hopefully get to catch him again in June. A name to know in northeast Ohio’s 2026 class.
A new name, Vlosich made his varsity debut and hit the ground running with some impressive shot making on the perimeter. I also was impressed with how vocal Vlosich was on both ends of the court, not afraid of the moment at all. For a prospect to be thrown into the fire in a game like Ed’s Vs Centerville, Vlosich responded incredibly well and seems like a name to watch for the future.
