A power athlete from the wing guard position, Knox was driving to the rim and moving defenders with his physicality and athleticism. Knox had a couple strong drives where he finished off two feet and another couple buckets off steals defensively. Knox is a player who continues to improve and a skilled Saint Edward roster around him should allow him to thrive this season.

I’m pretty high on Saint Edward this winter as their 2026 class has a nice core of seniors who have varsity experience and offensive talent. You expect winning in the Eagles program and while they haven’t had the Division I talent the past few years that they’ve been known for the past two decades, this is still a program consistently producing college talent that comes in ready to contribute. You’ll never be disappointed with how prepared a Saint Edward grad is to adjust to the college game and Knox’s flashes combined with his athleticism make him a player I’ve slowly started to move up our rankings as he shows traits I want to bet on down the road.

One of the top ranked 2026 prospects in attendance, Knox was a prospect I expected to be one of the top performers and certainly lived up to that reputation. One of the more athletic wing guards in northeast Ohio, Knox is tough to stop when he gets a head of steam going towards the rim. Playing through contact, Knox had some tough finishes and was one of the few players who drew fouls consistently in the paint. When Knox plays off two feet, it’s tough to get him off balance. When Knox was walled off on a drive, he took a hold back dribble and made an excellent feed to a cutter which is a skill that will translate to the college level.

Saint Edward has been one of the premier programs in Ohio this entire century and Knox looks like a senior ready to burst onto the scene. Knox has a strong frame, is an explosive athlete and plays with a high motor. Knox really stood out at midwest live for the Eagles and projects to be a senior leader alongside point guard Jt Kelshmeier who also made his debut during this rankings update. We’ll see if those two and the Eagles younger talent can get them back near the top of northeast Ohio.

This was the best I’ve ever seen Knox play as he was aggressive getting downhill to the rim and using his athletic gifts in transition to score. Starting to make somewhat of a similar jump that a player like Jair Knight made for the Eagles a few years ago as a senior, Knox had multiple and-1 finishes in the game I caught as well as a couple buckets where his motor allowed the ball to find him near the basket. If Knox can continue this level of play then he’ll be one of the bigger stock risers in northeast Ohio this winter.

Knox is a very aggressive and physical slasher. When he goes to the rim he seeks contact and does well at finishing through it. Knox is the biggest or strongest guard but his mentality helps him out physical a lot of defenders. He finds your chest and gets you out of his way when he attacks. Does a good job of giving himself an angle and finishing through traffic.

An athletic, bigger guard at 6’3″, Knox put on a show throughout the weekend while leading Mac Boys Basketball to the 16u Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals Final Four. He is able to use his skill out on the perimeter to penetrate the defense and then use his size to finish inside. Knox plays hard on both ends of the floor, is shifty with the ball, and can really be disruptive on the defensive end.
