The Ohio Bruins have had a lot of success over the years, and they haven’t disappointed thus far in their inaugural season as a member of the MHC. Carson’s 16U squad took down a really good 3SSB team in their final matchup on the weekend and Carson was arguably the most valuable offensive weapon on the court. He was consistent from beyond the arc, connecting on a handful of 3PT attempts with confidence and rhythm. Carson also wasn’t scared to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim as needed, finishing well over defenders. He racked up a game-high 24 points in the contest.

Like Lomack who was featured earlier in this article, Link is the rare player who was able to play at the varsity level as a freshman for Saint Edward. Link takes care of the basketball, has the positional size to read over the defense and is efficient as a scorer. Producing at the level Link did as a freshman is eye-opening and he’s continued his strong play as a sophomore for the Eagles. Link made waves for the Ohio Bruins on the Made Hoops Circuit over the summer, an under the radar team based out of northeast Ohio at the grassroots level. I’m excited to continue to watch Link grow as a player over the next few years.
