Brandon Ramsey | Prep Hoops Scout
We’ve had this prospect on our radar for a long time now. McNiece is a versatile front court piece that impressed us over the weekend with his defensive rebounding ability and how he would then start the break with an outlet pass. Offensively he is a good and willing passer that can finish inside with his left hand. The rising senior at Homestead High School is one that small college programs should continue to evaluate. Well-rounded forward.

We’ve had this 6’5″ forward on our radar for a while now, but on a statewide basis he is probably still due for a bit of a senior breakout. McNiece is a skilled lefty from Homestead High School with solid face-up skills and some positional ball-handling ability, but really shines with his plethora of moves inside. Left-handed forwards are always in style and this one should garner some small college opportunities through his senior season with the Spartans.

McNiece has been on our radar since his freshman season and continues to standout each time we get the opportunity to see him play. The 6’5″ forward has gotten even bigger and physically stronger while maintaining an impressive skill set. He can knock down open three-point shots on the perimeter, put the ball on the floor to drive it left, or use his size to score on the block. The Homestead High School junior is a versatile offensive threat with a lot of upside.

A 6’5″ left-handed forward from Homestead High School, McNiece and his OPS Kindschy 2026 team dominated the Prep Ho OPS Circuit through most of the spring. His versatility and size played a big role in their team success. McNiece can stretch the floor some with his catch-and-shoot ability, but is still at his best when attacking closeouts or scoring inside with his left hand over his right shoulder. As he continues to grow his game will be able to take another leap because of his skill level and mobility.

This skilled left-handed forward had an excellent weekend while leading OPS 2026 Black to a perfect 4-0 weekend against some good competition. McNiece handles the ball well for a 6’5″ forward, can face-up and score from the mid-range, and has the necessary size to get work done on the block. Love his upside as a stretch 4 type of player.
