Expert Analysis
Ryan Morgan | Prep Hoops Scout
A solid guard who can run an offense and pick his spots well when looking to score. Has some varied finishes in the paint and shows touch to hit short shots just inside the free-throw line, as well as the strength to finish with contact at the rim. He could surprise some people this season as he fills the shoes of some talented guards who graduated this past summer.

Should be the guy who fills the void at point vacated by Matt Lindblom at Olympia, and he has a balanced approach and skill set that will help him run an offense and still be a threat to score from different spots. Plays with good toughness and does a great job playing off of two feet around the paint.

Cronk is an efficient guard who picks his spots well, can score off of different gathers and angles in the paint, and can fill in to run the point. He’s pretty solid across the board, scoring inside around bodies, spacing the floor from 3-point, and defending his position. He makes good decisions with the ball and emerged last season as a reliable secondary ballhandler who can set things in motion and play with some toughness at the guard spot.

The Olympia guard is going to be a solid contributor for the Bears this winter with his decision-making and ability to get into high-percentage areas. He has looked very efficient with his scoring, largely in part to his movement off the ball, but also because of some added strength with the rock, allowing him to take contact and get separation easier.

Cronk was one of the best surprises of Saturday’s games. He’s shown skill in years past but looks physically more ready to make an impact this season. He played big for the Bears at the Fall Classic, finishing tough takes at the cup around multiple defenders and showing patience to identify gaps and attack downhill. He capitalized on several trips to the foul line and also showed good shooting touch from the midrange off the dribble. He looks ready to be a key contributor this winter.
