This high-level playmaking point guard excels at controlling the tempo, skillfully dictating the pace of the game with patience and precision. His vision on the court allows him to identify open teammates effortlessly, creating scoring opportunities as plays develop. Beyond his playmaking abilities, he is a sharpshooter from deep, consistently knocking down shots with impressive accuracy. His combination of composure, court awareness, and shooting prowess makes him a dynamic threat on both ends of the floor.

Heilman looks ready to take that next step this winter as a key player for Timberline. He’s been handling the ball with some consistent pace this summer, utilizing pivots and change of speeds to his advantage, and really reading the floor at a higher level. He’s making quick decisions, does a great job working to create passing angles, and has the ability to keep defenses honest with his outside shot.

Leon has been improving his change of pace on the offensive side of the ball, being able to be an elite point guard during this AAU season. He reads the defense quickly and thrives in the pick and roll, being able to attack quickly off the screen by splitting the defenders and finishing at the rim. He is poised for a big season next year for Timberline.

Leon has been improving his game in all aspects. He handles the ball at a high level, rarely turning the ball over when he is running the point guard position. He shoots the ball effectively from deep and his mid-range spots, being able to find his spots with ease. His change of pace and being able to control the pace of the game is what stands out to me, having some of the top agility in the class.

Leon’s game has evolved in a big way over the summer due to playing against top talent that NW Drip faces. He has held his own, getting to the bucket effectively and finding his teammates when the defense collapses on him in the paint. He is a pesky defender who will guard 94 feet and do so very well. He moves his feet quickly, reacting instantly to what the opposing team throws his way. Heilman is set for a breakout season.

Leon is a quick guard who really knows how to protect the rock. He handles the ball at an elite level and is able to run his offense to that same level. He sees and reads defenses quickly, attacking the weaknesses and being able to expose opposing teams. He knocks down shots from deep and from the mid-range level and will be a guard to watch next year.

Leon is a smart player on the court, playing with great patience when he has the ball in his hands. Heilman can facilitate the offense to an elite level, having great vision when looking for his teammate for easy shots. Leon is great in transition as he can push the ball with his dribble, keeping his eyes up for any teammates leaking out ahead of him. He fills the lane and sprints hard when the ball isn’t in his hands either. He will have a great year for Timberline next year.
