Summit Country Day had a solid run to the district title game and of their five top scorers, two were Juniors and two were Sophomores. I caught Wolujewicz at the Midwest Basketball Club Fall League in Cincinnati and was intrigued by his perimeter shooting for his size. He didn’t shoot a high volume of 3’s, but making 56% of 3’s and 70% of free throws show his shooting is a legit skill. He still needs a lot of work on the offensive end and moving his feet defensively, but he has the tools to become a productive player at the college level. Best to be patient with bigs, they take longer to develop!

Another one of the tallest prospects in the fall league, Wolujewicz showed a lot of promise on Saturday. Having a big size advantage on the interior, he used his height to grab rebounds over smaller prospects and score on second and third chances. His team fell behind in the first half but started using a full court press in the second half to turn momentum and I was encouraged by how hard Wolujewicz worked in the press. Bigs usually take longer to develop and Wolujewicz is just starting to develop into the player he could become in a few years time.
