Back to back weeks where Harris impressed me with his on ball scoring ability and ball handling shiftiness, this week he earns an article spotlight from his play. Harris wants to get busy with the ball in his hands and put up a lot of tough buckets inside of 15 feet on Sunday as he found his most success attacking off the dribble. Harris is a crafty finisher at the rim as he puts impressive spin on the basketball with his layup finishes. Through two weeks in the Midwest Fall League I’m not sure how many higher scorers there have been in the league so far. Summit Country Day has had a lot of talented pieces the last few years but Harris could be a sneaky piece this season as they look to return to the state tournament for a third consecutive season. 

Harris made a couple plays that caught my eye, first he had a rip and go from the baseline to score at the rim and also knocked down a corner 3-pointer. That area of the court was where he was most effective, playing off his teammates and being ready to shoot or make a quick decision with the ball in his hands. Defensively, Harris also rotated and blocked a shot as well. A new name to be added to our radar, Harris has some skills to build on for the future.
