The second GCL-South prospect on this list, physicality is a must in that league on the hardwood so it comes as no surprise that football studs would be drawn to playing basketball in that league. Reilly is a linebacker commit to Northwestern, joining Hieber’s former high school basketball teammate Lincoln Creager next season in Evanston.

at Northwestern starting in the Fall of 2026. Reilly is a three star linebacker and has been a standout for the Bombers during his high school career being named to the GCL-South first team as a Junior and the GCL-South second team as a Sophomore.

Reilly is a top football prospect in Ohio with recent offers from Wake Forest and Cincinnati. Despite this obvious football talent, Reilly is a major piece of the Bombers basketball program as well. Defensively, Reilly is elite with his ability to stay in front of ball handlers and is able to be physical on the wing. If Reilly dedicated off-season training to basketball to improve as a scorer, I think he could be a scholarship level basketball player as well. With power conference football offers, his time in the off-season is better spent in the weight room and playing 7 on 7 football.

Another standout football player, Reilly just received an offer from Wake Forest on the gridiron. On the hardwood, Reilly is an impressive athlete who gets after it defensively. The type of athlete and defender that can take a star scorer out the game, Reilly is an elite glue guy. Some of his most impactful plays were getting loose balls and rebounds. A prospect who will have his college future playing football, he’s still a crucial piece to help the bombers win high school basketball games.

led Pickerington North squad. On a team with a ton of athletes from their football program, I thought Reiley showed his athleticism on the defensive end of the court, moving his feet and making it difficult on whoever he was guarding. He also picked his spots well on the offensive end with a floater and cut for a layup. In overtime, Reiley had a crucial and-1 layup to give his team the lead. Likely to wind up a football prospect down the road, Reiley will be an impactful GCL-South player for years to come. A name for both football and basketball fans in the greater Cincinnati area to learn.
