The second time Ahern is mentioned as a standout during the fall league, his soft touch at the rim really stood out on Sunday afternoon. Ahern was able to get downhill and finish through contact with a couple and-1 finishes and others that were just tough finishes at the basket. Overall, Ahern was one of the top guards I saw at the fall league and looks to keep improving as he gears up for a year in the GCL-South that will be filled with tough match-ups that give him plenty of opportunities to show out Vs top competition.

Another shifty guard, Ahern stood out for his ‘Blue Devils’ squad who impressed me on Sunday. Ahern is another guard who got low off the dribble and got around his primary defender with dribble moves. Ahern made confident decisions when attacking off the dribble and has shined for St Xavier during June ball as he looks like a prospect who could burst onto the scene in the GCL-South this winter.
