About Brandon
Expert Analysis
Kyle Sandy | Prep Hoops Scout
Shots just didn’t drop for B-Roc over the first three quarters. Alexander did a good job forcing him a step farther than usual, but still with his elite deep range Rechsteiner’s shots rimmed in and out on multiple occasions. Working hard for every hoop he got, when it matter most the Virginia Tech-signee took his game to the next level, scoring 15 of his 20 points in the second half including 10 in the fourth quarter. Brandon scored on tough jumpers off the dribble and drilled long threes. Rechsteiner has such elite quickness and shiftiness with the ball. His head fakes and fast-twitch movements freeze most defenders when attacking downhill as he keeps the ball on a string. Rechsteiner finished with 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
