Elnicki got hot from three against NMH and kept Cheshire in the game for as long as he could. The senior has good range and a quick release, which allowed him to get shots off consistently. He also showed a decent ability to attack closeouts and finish in the lane with floaters and runners, not to mention finding his teammates for some open looks. The unsigned, 6-foot-3 senior has size and shooting ability that absolutely warrants D3 looks. He should find a home somewhere.

Braeden Elnicki Braeden Elnicki 6'3" | SF Cheshire Academy | 2025 New E is a gamer who plays with high intensity and confidence. On the offensive end, shooting is his biggest strength right now. The ball starts at the side of his body when he shoots and it feels like Elnicki tosses it into the hoop. It’s a different kind of form, but it works to perfection as he is a great floor spacer. Elnicki is also great at ball fakes when defenders close out, creating even more space for himself. He competes hard on defense, providing weak side rim protection as a guard with sneaky hops. Elnicki is also a good decision-maker with the ball, and there could be some passing upside to tap into. I am personally impressed, and think coaches will fall in love soon enough.
