Expert Analysis
Miles Masercola | Prep Hoops Scout
Miller had a really strong weekend for Top Shot 16u as he held it down with his interior scoring, rebounding at both ends, and ability to be a connector at both ends of the floor. Miller averaged 11.8 Points, 8.3 Rebounds, 2.5 Assists, and 2.0 Blocks per game while shooting 75% from the floor. Miller possesses the ability to use his size on the interior while finishing with touch around the basket with a high level of consistency. He keeps the ball moving when doubled in the post, finding the open man with consistency and relocating properly. Miller helped lead his team to a 3-1 weekend to get their season started off on the right foot and is proving to be a super valuable part of this group. He’s continuing to establish himself as a big for coaches to monitor in this absolutely stacked North Carolina 2028 class.

Miller has made the move over to Ambassador Christian and fit in with this group right away. He was looking for structure and they were able to add a really high quality piece to their front-court. Miller finished with 10 Points, 10 Rebounds, 3 Assists, and 2 Blocks to stuff the stat sheet in the win over Millbrook. Supplemental production and physicality are two incredibly valuable things to a team with a lot of talent on it, Miller provides exactly that for this group. Very comfortable in the middle of the floor, capable of finishing through contact, and a guy that sees the floor very well in multiple spots. 4 of his 6 rebounds were on the offensive end and he was a very efficient 4-6 from the floor. Miller should only get more and more comfortable with this group and see his stock rise because of it.
