Forbes anchored McFarland’s interior presence, dominating the boards as the team’s center. He led the conference in rebounding, impressively snatching eleven per game. The six-foot-nine-inch prospect recorded fifteen games with double-digit rebounds, including a dominant twenty-rebound performance. Another highlight of his outstanding year was a victory over Baraboo, where he contributed a double-double with twenty-four points and twelve rebounds. This top-ten scorer in the conference has committed to UW-Platteville. His impactful efforts have earned him First Team All-Conference recognition in the Badger-Small.

A diamond in the rough big guy with bounce, length and the ability to run the floor, Forbes’ best basketball could certainly be ahead of him as he continues to harness his skills. He finished the game with 15 points, scoring from outside the arc, from the foul line and with his size and verticality in the lane. Forbes has a walkon offer from NCAA Division I South Dakota, but remains open as to where he will play next season.

Forbes isn’t a huge scorer, but he is a huge presence. At 6-foot-9 and with a 7-foot-3 wingspan, Forbes patrols the lane with authority. He can block/alter shots and score near the basket. The big man funs the floor well and isn’t afraid to get on the floor for a loose ball or compete with physicality around the hoop. Forbes is a bit of a project, particularly on offense, but there is no denying his size and reach. And with a strong work ethic and desire to improve, his best basketball is ahead of him.
