About Ashton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A tough tree level scorer who likes to get to the rim, and can guard all five positions.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm ultra competitive with a team focus. I can be depended on in the clutch. I'll pass to the open man, or get the tough bucket; whatever it takes.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

As I'm exploring my options for non-season clubs, I'm currently working on making Honor Roll.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've learned how to be a good teammate by: - Keeping the focus being positive when we are going through adversity - Leading the team in prayer - Bringing energy on the floor

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My family has moved a lot. I have had to attend 8 schools in 10 years. I've faced the challenges of making new friends, adapting to new environments, and how to learn from different teaching and coaching styles.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that has a long standing athletic personal tenure and low turnover. A college which also has an excellent business program, and has a melting pot of students. One located in a climate where the seasons offer extracurricular activities outside of the basketball season.

Smooth shooting combo guard that played with loads of confidence at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. The 6’2” Westfield Product played with a high motor on both ends of the floor. Sweet perimeter stroke with deep range and good balance made scoring look easy at times. Defensively he was versatile in being able to guard all over the floor as well as being an active rebounder. Did a really good job running the floor and spotting up for open shots. Also showed his unselfishness being a willing passer and not just out there to hunt shots.
