Williams operated as a ring leader of sorts for the Bellevue East offense. Williams’s playmaking and scoring ability were among the best in attendance.
His playmaking is his best asset; it allows him to control games while keeping teammates involved. He showed all the passes you want from a lead guard. Whether it was advancing the ball in transition, finding cutters, finding the roll man, or hitting shooters on kickout threes.
When I saw Williams at a Puma event over the summer, he didn’t shoot it the best. However, his mechanics were solid. He it much better over the last few weekends.
Williams made several catch-and-shoot threes and shots off the dribble. He shot it with confidence and consistency throughout. He also showed glimpses of more advanced shot creation hitting multiple difficult pullups and fadeaways.
Williams is a two-way guard who bothered opponents both on and off the ball. His ball pressure was effective, and the effort he gave on that end was contagious. While Williams is a capable scorer he will need to be more aggressive for his team to reach their goals.

Williams is the lead guard for NHE and operates as a puppet master of sorts, pulling the strings of the defense. Williams is a two-way guard who despite his shooting struggles over the weekend has good shot mechanics and shoots the ball with confidence.
He excels as a playmaker, he often creates open catch and shoot threes for his teammates by driving and collapsing the defense. Williams uses one hand off dribble passes in the pick-and-roll allowing him to hit his teammates in stride. My favorite part of his game was how he advanced the ball early in transition. His early passing is sudden but an important part of his team’s offense.
Williams is also a hard-nosed defender who pestered his opponent all the time. All-around Williams was hard to take off the court over the weekend and his presence on the court often led to success for his team.

Williams is one of the most refined point guards in the state. A varsity player since his freshman year, Williams is a high IQ player who can be a floor general with a calm presence that always makes the right play for his team. Often an unselfish player, he will be looking to breakout offensively this year as the Chieftains will put the ball in his hands often to make plays. Williams has the full capability to score off the dribble and is dangerous from deep with a clutch gene. Pay attention to this breakout candidate.

is a prospect that seems to keep getting better and better. With a big junior season on the horizon at Bellevue East, he will look to put his talent on display this weekend. He’s a tough, skilled point guard with a winning mentality. Currently, Williams is listed as a top 30 player in his class, but has the potential to seriously boost his stock in front of scouts and college coaches.

is going to have a monster Junior season at Bellevue East. He had a great summer with NHE, and will look to use that momentum to carry over to his school ball season. Williams is a tough guard who plays the game the right way and with a chip on his shoulder. He has a nice release from the outside, and is a super physical defender. Even though he may be only listed at 5’10, he plays much bigger than his size. While I was only able to watch him a couple times this summer, I look forward to following the young prospect this season at Bellevue East.

https://twitter.com/williams_ammirnYou can tell Williams is the son of a coach. Williams was a strong contributor as a sophomore to the Chieftains this past season, scoring in double figures in multiple games, while being a primary ball handler. He has a high basketball I.Q. and always seems to make the right decision on both ends of the floor. Williams has a smooth stroke from distance, which puts pressure on defenses to close out hard and open opportunities for scoring lanes. His demeanor is as cool as a cucumber, never getting rattled with the ball and patiently waiting for the offense to develop when it’s not. Williams is an unselfish talent, with his offensive package he could easily average double figures on any given night but is always willing to make the extra pass for a higher percentage shot. With his confidence growing, quick defensive hands and coachability, Williams is set to make a mark in the Metro this fall.

Williams is one of the best perimeter defenders our 2025 class has to offer. He is very quick laterally and slides his feet very well, provides great on ball activity, very active hands, capable of stunting on dribble drive and walking away with a lose ball often. Shifty ball handler in iso scenarios. His handle allows him to break defenders off and get to the rim. He can get creative with his finishes and has a great finishing arsenal for a smaller guard. Able shooter but takes smart shots. Doesn’t force much from beyond the arc and is patient with his looks.
