Ammi Williams Ammi Williams 5'10" | PG Bellevue East | 2025 State NE , the junior guard, showcased his floor general skills at The Prep Hoops 250 Expo, steering the game with a composed demeanor. Unfazed by defensive pressure, Williams dictated his own pace on the court, maintaining precise ball control and unbroken vision to make the right play. Williams a very unselfish player consistently sought opportunities to dish the ball to open teammates, prioritizing team success over personal glory. His court vision and decision-making were on full display as he directed plays. Williams is not only a facilitator but also a scoring threat with a great shooting form. From deep three-pointers to smooth mid-range shots, he knocked down some shots while also putting the ball on the deck and driving the bucket adding a valuable scoring dynamic to his game. Defensively, Williams is a perimeter force, employing quick feet to keep ball handlers in check. His instinct reading of passing lanes resulted in several steals, showcasing his defensive IQ. At the Expo, Williams’s ability to balance playmaking, scoring, and defensive knowledge made him a standout player, something a lot of Chieftain’s fans are looking forward to this upcoming season.

A walking bucket, Mrozek showed us his poise getting his shot off with ease and versatility in every conceivable way. From distance to down long he showed off a repertoire of moves that left the defenses helpless when checking him. Mroczek’s basketball IQ shone through exploiting defenders guarding him, diving into his bag he brought out smooth step-back and sidestep threes, hitting fadeaway jumpers while backing down defenders and aggressively putting the ball on the deck attacking the rim with tenacity, and consistently finishing around the basket with finesse. A true offensive threat, Mroczek demonstrated exceptional footwork, from the perimeter to down in the post, his solid footwork helped him create angles to get his quick shot off. His long wingspan and tall, lanky frame created a defensive nightmare for opponents, making him a formidable presence on both ends of the floor. Defensively, Mroczek continued to be a menace, turning away shots at the hoop with his imposing wingspan. On the perimeter, his athletic ability posed a challenge for offensive players, making it difficult for them to get a shot off over him even behind the arc he sent shots away.
