Trinity is loaded with talent and future scholarship level signees and Alex belongs on that list. He’s already built like a college player and is very athletic. He will not hesitate to dunk on you if you allow him the chance. Johnson, like all Trinity kids, suffers from being on a loaded roster so his individual stats won’t jump off at you but he’s the sort of player that makes a college coach look very smart down the line after signing day.

Johnson was one of the best, if not the best athlete I saw at the Expo. Had a couple impressive dunks in transition, one being a lob in traffic that he threw down effortlessly. Long athlete that was smooth getting the rim. Struggled finishing but was impressed how he was shifty getting to the rim. Made a couple tough jumpers, one being a step back 3. Has a unique combination of skill and athleticism. Versatile wing to keep an eye on for the future.

Alex is overlooked because Trinity is so loaded with talent but he is the type of kid who could go to another school in the city and average 18-20 points per game. Look for him to show his skills on Saturday.
