About Alan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a versatile combo guard/small forward who can score, create, and defend multiple positions. I attack downhill, make smart reads, and can space the floor. I’m comfortable handling the ball, finishing at the rim, or playing off the ball and knocking down shots. I impact the game on both ends.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I play with confidence and a team-first mindset. I’m competitive, coachable, and always looking to make winning plays. I stay calm under pressure, lead by example, and bring consistent energy on defense and in transition. My mentality is to outwork everyone and do whatever my team needs.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No I have not yet but am hoping to.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills by being a vocal teammate on and off the court. I take pride in keeping my team organized, staying positive, and helping younger players. I’ve also grown in teamwork, discipline, and giving back through helping with youth camps and community events.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is learning to stay confident through injuries and setbacks. It taught me patience, mental toughness, and how to work my way back stronger. Pushing through tough moments has helped shape my work ethic and focus.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with strong academics, a competitive basketball program, and coaches who develop players on and off the court. I want a school where I can grow, be pushed, and have a real opportunity to contribute.
