Clark is finishing up his high school career at the 6A level with a move to Broken Arrow. He’s been blessed with strength, size and some explosiveness since he started high school. But that hasn’t stopped him from adding to his game. Has a good feel as a passer and shooter. While also continually adding more to his in between game. Even at the 6A level, he’ll have the ability to be a match up problem. With the shooting ability to drag opposing forwards away from the rim. While capable of punishing smaller players on post ups. Especially as he sees the floor well and can pass out of doubles.

Triples. Dimes. Dunks. Even taking charges. All are common sites when watching Clark. A player who is a literal, do it all chess piece for Inola. In a game that is increasingly prioritizing skill and versatility, those traits should open next level doors for the small town forward. While the 4A playoff gauntlet is the current challenge, a spring and summer competing nationally Adidas could do wonders to grow his game. As the exposure to the high level competition could help slow down the game for him even more and set the stage for a dominating senior season.

After an injury wiped out his summer, Clark has been making up for lost time with strong performances as the main man for Inola. So far this semester, he’s had multiple 20+ performances with full stat lines. Highlights have indicated that he looks smoother and more in control. With euro steps, hang in the air finishes and a reliable pull up jumper. The junior has an unique skillset, especially with his floor vision. Which makes him an very tough match up in Class 4A. It’s a big week for Clark, as they’re playing in a field full of size and athleticism, at the Old Fort Classic field this week.

The small town standout is one of the most unique prospects in the state, as he blends a great foundation of physical traits with a modern versatile skillset. Clark has a physical frame, with good vertical lift when it comes to getting up for dunks, rebounds and protecting the rim. He’s also a physical finisher and general imposing presence around the rim. Strides made as a shooter and passer have helped his longterm upside. Clark has put together some strong scoring performances this year largely because he can shoot easily over outstretched arms. While his passing ability adds an even bigger impact to the game. He often looks for outlets or pushing it ahead in transition. Even in the halfcourt, he’s starting to improve as a passer out of crowds and on drives. Improving his foot speed and ball handling ability remain the areas to watch as the hybrid forward attempts to transition more to perimeter play at higher levels of basketball.

It was good to get an extended look of the promising sophomore in a close game. Let’s start with the good, his vision and passing touch are improving. He keeps his head up and was often looking to keep it moving when he attacking. While also doing a good job of being patient on post ups and correctly making reads when he was swarmed. This development gives Clark another way to be a great threat in pick and roll situations, as he could develop into a great decision maker out of short roll opportunities.
Clark also remains a strong and physical player for his age, he even connected some when given space on mid-range and from beyond the arc. In the overtime, he came from the help side and drew a good charge. There’s a good overall feel to his game but he didn’t always play to size around the basket and could’ve finished or rebounded better. He was also tasked with more ball-handling opportunities and was solid. But there were noticeable times his dribbles came too high. He needs his handles to be tighter and lower as quick guards could give him a lot of trouble if he brought the ball up against top teams from 6A and 5A.
The sophomore has to find the right balance of embracing his improving perimeter skills while developing a killer instinct around the basket. Because versatility could be one of the strengths to his game. He currently profiles closer to a stretch forward type than a true wing, which is still very good for modern basketball and small ball. Hopefully by March, Clark is maturing into a more consistent finisher around the rim with a mix of playmaking for a promising Longhorns squad.

A physical prospect, Clark is a tweener right now. He’s a load in the post with a strong frame but does step out and shoot it well from the perimeter. The shooting is a promising addition to his offensive arsenal, that hints at the versatile weapon he should mature into. Longterm, he will need to continue to improve his ball handling and most importantly lateral quickness to be a more a versatile defender on the defensive end. There are a lot of fun traits in this still developing wing-forward prospect, that should see him terrorize the small school ranks with his collegiate upside.

is the ideal wing that can just about do it all. Agile and strong finishing on the break and capable of operating with his back to the basket, but just as deadly stepping behind the 3pt line and letting it fly with a hand in his face. Clark is the forward that can finish the break for you just as well as he can start. From his tenacity on the defensive end to his court vision Clark is a lethal threat on both ends of the floor and will provide of fuel for a potential deep post season run for Inola.

starts off our breakdown and he came in at #3 overall right behind Montonati and Woodson. Clark is going to be yet another prospect that is similar to those top two guys in terms of physical appearance and abilities. However, the majority of Clark’s impact on the game this season has been closer to the basket. We think that Clark certainly has the ability to step outside of the paint and make plays with his jumper. But on a very experienced and senior-led Inola squad, Clark is asked to play a certain role and that’s as a forward and dominating presence in the paint. Inola is in a tough area that features defending champion Kingfisher. But with Clark and company, we won’t rule out the Longhorns making a run to OKC.

is one of those players that will leave it all on the court and showed that he was willing to do whatever it takes to win. I have 12 points recorded for him, with all of his points coming from in the paint. These came in a variety of ways, as he scored with putbacks, finishing in transition, and him using his size to clear out space to finish. He is a player that reflects solid size and muscle. He knows how to use it to his advantage and that helped him, not only with scoring, but also with rebounding. He had several rebounds and also had a block in the game. He was hustling for loose balls and showed that he is not afraid to dive on the floor. He is a player that is not afraid to do the dirty work or do what it takes to help his team win. He is one of those players that will box out to allow his teammate to get the rebound. Him being a freshman is scary with how impressive he already is.

There is a lot of excitement at Inola this year as the Longhorns look to be a dark horse in an absolutely loaded Class 4A this year. They have a lot of experience returning but a new face will be freshman forward

. The freshman has already made an impact for the Longhorns as he had a really good offseason and has been shining so far in the scrimmages. We’re looking forward to seeing Clark early this year as Inola hosts their annual tournament in the first week in December. Clark has already shown a lot of the tools it takes to be a top five overall prospect in this class. It is going to be interesting to see how the Longhorns use Clark this season. Because you can make the argument that he might be the best player on the floor, but he’s surrounded by experienced upperclassmen.
