WHY?
13-7 record. I think the Eagles will have some trouble with this BIG fella! Smith is large, strong, but also long. He will protect the paint and gobble up rebounds. I hope Alpha Camara Alpha Camara 6'5" | SF Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND and Smith get matched up on each other. This could be a fun matchup as they are both interior players but have a different build. Aaron will have trouble staying with Alpha but Aaron will be able to burry him low and score with his brute strength. I am interested to see if Smith does any scoring outside of the paint. From the film I watched, He looks to have a soft scoring tough around the rim.

I really like how hard this 2024 post plays. Osseo really struggled to rebound the ball against a bigger and more athletic Park Center team, but that wasn’t the case when Aaron was on the floor. Even though he missed chunks of time with foul trouble, he finished the game with 9 points and 8 rebounds. Offensively he makes himself big to provide an easy target for entry passes on the block, and he has no hesitation to go up and finish in traffic. On the defensive end he may not be the quickest big, but he works hard to move his feet when he has to hedge and recover, and he does a nice job of walling up around the rim.

The 6’8 big man was an intimidating presence inside for Osseo. Defensively he works hard to move his feet into position to contest around the rim, and does a nice job of walling up to make things difficult for opposing players looking to finish. Had a handful of blocks across both games, and made opponents think twice about looking to score when he was defending in the paint. Aaron is also a dominant presence on the glass who isn’t going to cough the ball up if he’s able to get two hands on it. Offensively he has to work on keeping his feet set on screens as he got called for a handful of illegals screens, but he’s a solid scoring option on the block. When left isolated he has the frame to back his man down deep and finish over the top with a hook shot. Showed some touch from mid-range as well.
