Tazir Cantey Tazir Cantey 6'0" | PG Eastern | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Lindenwold
Cantey and Eriq Campbell combined to form one of the best backcourts in the county. He scored 659 points this season and knocked down 47 three’s. Cantey also averaged 3.5 steals per game. He used his quickness and anticipation to be a dominant defender on the perimeter. Cantey is the type of player that is the most skilled on the floor most times out.
Damian Rawls (2021) | Overbrook
Having focus and being a playmaker on both ends is not an easy thing but Rawls makes it look effortless. He can knocked down a three on one end then proceed to get a steal on defense. Rawls averaged over two steals per game this season. Overbrook will have their top gun back for one more year as they look to build on a 21-6 season.
Ellison Reed (2021) | Audubon
Reed established himself as one of the top big men in the county. He was a force on both ends of the floor blocking shots and picking up steals. Reed averaged 11 points per game and was the top rebounder on Audubon.
Justin Smith (2022) | Cherry Hill West
Smith took the next step during his sophomore year. He was a strong presence down low and that showed on the defensive block as well. Smith was third on the team with over 11 points per game. He will continue to grow his game as an upperclassman and that is good news for Cherry Hill West.
Justin Kasko (2021) | Haddonfield
Kasko was a big part of a 25 win Haddonfield team. He was a scorer at all three levels and could turn defense into quick offense. Kasko knows how to use his size and strength to compete on both ends. When it comes to defense, he is an effort player that has an endless motor.
Ryan Pierman (2021) | Gloucester Catholic
Pierman made a name for himself as a dominant duel-threat for Gloucester Catholic. He was a scoring threat down low while being able to rebound on both ends. Pierman led the team in steals in 2019-2020.
