Moragne averaged 15.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game as a junior.
“This past year I felt was a very good year for me at Hillsborough,” he told Prep Hoops. “I was able to lead my team to a district title and almost to states. The older guys taught me to take advantage of your opportunity while you can and to never slack off.”
Here’s how he would break down his own game.
“I’m a combo guard so I can beat my defender off the dribble and either get to the basket or pull up for a mid-range jumper. I’m looking forward to becoming a better defender from outside on the perimeter.”
Moragne debuted for head coach Jemel Daniels and CP25 Southeast Elite on the AAU circuit this summer.
“I started off playing really well with them so this is going to be like my third tournament with them.”
Although Moragne doesn’t hold an offer just yet, he has drawn interest from Alabama A&M, West Florida, Mississippi Valley State, Lee and Delta State.
The rising senior is a pure athlete whether he’s on the hardwood or out on the turf. Moragne is going to draw interest from all levels of programs. He’s flying under the radar a bit at this point, but he shouldn’t any longer in his final high school season.
