Continue Reading2018 guard Jacob Tracey led all Riverdale scorers last season with 18 points per game. The 6’4″, 205-pounder also averaged a team-best 6.0 assists and 2.9 steals per game while finishing third with 5.0 rebounds per game. He helped the Raiders finish 17-11 and advance to the 7A region semifinal.
He had this to say about Riverdale’s first district title since 1988.
“Last season, we did a lot more than everybody thought we would by winning a district championship and making it to the regional semifinals to Lakewood ranch.”
How would Tracey break down his own game?
“I would say I’m a pass first guard that likes to get to the rim and play defense. This summer I’ve been working on becoming a knockdown shooter.”
He plays for head coach Ed Hall and Nike Team Florida.
Tracey hasn’t earned his first offer yet, but he’s drawn interest from Butler, George Washington, Murray State, Morehead State, Florida International, South Florida, Illinois and Davidson. With two years left of prep ball, Tracey is on track to become a scary good player rather soon.
