We added about 20 new players from our previous rankings that we did at the end of the 2018 AAU season. Below is the top 5 stock risers from this pass season.
(Unranked -> #2 prospect) Davion Wright 6’3 G, Franklin High School
Davion has jumped on the scene as on of the best 2 way guards in Northern California. After averaging 15.5 ppg and just over 4 rebounds, Davion was the ultimate play maker for his Franklin squad. With a great build and over achieving athletic ability, Davion is a menace on the court creating steals and imposing his will on all opponents. With great speed and great pace of the game Davion gets to his spots and knocks his shots down. Filling up the stat sheet up in a hurry he not only can score but does it efficiently one of the best per. With high flying action above the rim and a great jump shot Davion is one of the premier guards in Nor Cal. Will play with Chuck Hayes in the Adidas Gauntlet this AAU spring.
(Unranked -> #3 prospect) Kendall Allen 5’8 G, Vacaville Christian High School
Kendall Allen is a very fast multi sport athlete. With 1200 all purpose yards playing varsity football and averaging 14.8 ppg this past season and being the only player on his team to receive first team all league honors, the freshman guard has jumped all the way into the number 3 spot in our prospect rankings. While averaging the most points on his team Kendall also help lead his team to a C.I.F championship win at the Golden 1 Center last month. With quick speed and great physicality Kendall blows by defenders and often gets fouled or gets an easy layup. With great laterally quickness he keeps defenders in front without fouling and often creates a steal off of pure pressure. Also has the ability to knock down the floater and an open 3.
(Unranked -> # 7 prospect) Leo Wagner 6’4 W, West Campus High School
Leo is a hybrid 3 swing man who can knock the 3 down at a high rate. With a great body he bumps and grinds in the paid and creates extra possessions with tip ins and offensive rebounds. With great ability to create missmatches he thrives on the boards. He also has one of the best I.Q in the 2022 Nor Cal class. With his athletic ability starting to grow Leo is starting to play above the rim and attack the rim with force. Leo has already started to pick up high major interest from high major colleges.
(Unranked-> # 6) Takai Emerson-Hardy 6’6 F, Vanden High School
Standing at 6’6 the athletic forward is one of the best finishers in the 2022 Nor Cal class. With big soft hands he catches and finishes above the rim. Runing the floor hard and using good footwork to avoid defenders. Also can step out and knock down the jumper.
(# 7-> # 4) Jake Overbay 5’10 G, Lincoln High School
Jake jumps 3 spots after having one of the best freshman seasons in Nor Cal after averaging right around 15.5 ppg and close to %40 from 3 Jake moves up in our prospect rankings. Jake has improved the consistency of his very pure jump shot. He also grew as a defender, taking multiple charges during the season and being a great pressure and off ball defender. Jake also received first team in his league as a freshman. Will play with HotShots Elite in the Adidas Gauntlet.
