6’3, 2019 G Lucas Taylor (North Henderson HS)-The 6-foot-3 shooting guard is averaging nearly 16 points per game for North Henderson HS and has helped them to a 5-10 overall record. He scored a season-high against a very talented Travelers Rest (SC) team.
5’11, 2020 G Tyler Parton (Reynolds HS)-The guy that has picked up the most slack since the graduation of All-Conference guard Isaiah Pruett has been Parton. The 5-foot-11 guard is averaging 14 points per game this season with a season high of 24 against WNC maintstay North Buncombe HS.
6’2, 2019 G Malachi Hammond (North Buncombe HS)-The ultra-athletic guard for North Buncombe is a workhorse on defense and can get after with in-your-face guarding. He is very athletic and can finish plays above the rim. He is a blur in the open floor and is just a playmaker. He is averaging close to 10 points per game and would make a Division II roster with his work ethic and hustle.
6’4, 2019 G Dalton Whitt (North Buncombe HS)-Whitt is a guy that has finally came into his own this season. The West Henderson HS transfer is making the most of his senior season and has showed people glimpses in his game that liken to what his dad did in the late 90’s at Erwin HS. Whitt shows a nice shooting touch from outside, he can rebound well and he is good at taking the ball to the basket and finishing with his length. He should be considered a lower-level Division II player or a Division III recruit.
6’1, 2020 G Max Rogers (Tuscola HS)-The long and athletic guard out of Waynesville, North Carolina is a high IQ basketball player that knows where to be on the floor and doesn’t make many mistakes, he is a stat-stuffer and can make plays.
